The mine could be a dangerous place to work, and the hours were long and arduous. Safety and pay were always an issue. Join us as we kick off our first Canmore Heritage Festival with a traditional Ukrainian supper. Learn about the history of the United Miner Workers of America and Local 1387. The evening will finish with entertainment from local musicians.
